AMMREN held a number of activities in its chapters such as Burkina Faso, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Senegal, and The Gambia to commemorate World Malaria Day in April
Other 2011 Activities
• AMMREN was represented at the 2011 World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ) in Doha-Qatar
• AMMREN formally launched the AMMREN-Kenya chapter in Nairobi
• AMMREN Ghana journalists paid visit/courtesy calls during the year to the Ministry of Health
